When the Prefecture adopted the new technological advances of gunpowder weapons, the Ito Clan has always preferred to focus their martial activities on the more traditional weapons, particularly the shortbow which their archers practice with excellence. Their archers are fast and deadly in the field and their slightly smaller bows allow for maximum mobility in the jungle. Tamotsu is a skilled scout, able to follow any trail and is an integral part of the Ito Clan's war efforts.
